I didn't have high expectations of this movie...how can an old coot be interesting to watch for 2 hours? But man was I wrong! It was a long time ago I watched a movie that was good all the way through. This movie never gets boring! The movie is about a man with a dream and he does what it takes to see his dream come true. The movie is based on a true story about Burt Munro, a motocyclist fanatic from New Zealand who travels half around the world at the age of over 60 just to see how fast his patched up and modified 43 year old Indian can go. Anthony Hopkins is great and his Kiwi accent is brilliant. He is a kiwi personified, talkative and friendly and he has the mentality of "you take what you have and make it work" which is how I define a kiwi. I warmly recommend this movie!

commentYeah it was a good movie alright.

I think it was almost funny how they cramed in every single kiwi saying/phrase in that movie.
like good on ya, mate! and many many more.

All in all a good movie that never got tired and pulled it off

commentYup, great movie. But had I not known that it was based on a real event, I probably would have thought that it was really unrealistic...
